Gary Girotti of Chainalytics Named a 2007 Pro to Know

Leading Business Magazine Presents Annual Listing of
Top Supply and Demand Chain Industry Professionals

Atlanta - March 16, 2007 - Chainalytics LLC, a supply chain consulting firm specializing in applying advanced analytics to strategic and tactical supply chain planning, announced today that Gary Girotti, Vice President of Transportation Planning, has been named as a 2007 Pro to Know from Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine. Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine, the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, this week announced the seventh-annual listing of Pros to Know in its February/March 2007 issue.

This year Supply & Demand Chain Executive is recognizing 22 Practitioner Pros to Know. The Practitioner Pros to Know is a listing of exceptional corporate executives who are driving transformation initiatives and achieving bottom-line successes in supply chain.

"By turning the spotlight onto these outstanding Practitioner Pros to Know, we are not only recognizing their accomplishments but also offering them as role models for other executives looking to take their own organizations to a higher, more strategic level within the enterprise," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "They are all truly 'Pros to Know.'"

Supply & Demand Chain Executive Editorial and Advisory Board members culled through scores of nominations to find the applicants that best fit the following criteria: how the use/implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes have helped drive bottom- and top-line results at his/her company; how the applicant helped Supply Chain achieve recognition as a strategic function in the company; and why the applicant personally believes that it is important for Supply Chain to be recognized today as a strategic function within the enterprise.

"The key to Gary's success is his ability to apply innovative approaches to transform transportation processes that ultimately delivers results," said Mike Kilgore, President of Chainalytics. "Gary's eagerness to educate all levels in the organization has helped to strengthen the relevance of logistics and supply chain in the boardroom".
