Chainalytics Extends Transportation Procurement Services
To Plug Savings Leakage

Addition of implementation and compliance auditing services guarantees rapid payback

Atlanta - May 6, 2008 - Chainalytics LLC, the leading provider of advanced analytical supply chain services, announced today the launch of its Transportation Procurement Value Assurance program. Chainalytics is extending its already robust Transportation Procurement services to include support during the implementation and realization of new transportation contracts to ensure the procurement opportunity is fully realized.

"Too often it’s the case that a significant portion of the rate improvements shippers achieve during a transportation procurement event never translate into real, measurable savings," said Gary Girotti, Vice President Transportation Planning Practice, Chainalytics. "This ‘leakage’ occurs both in the final negotiations and in the execution of new contracts. By extending our Transportation Procurement services to be more inclusive of implementation, compliance, and audit activities, Chainalytics can guarantee that the payback for conducting a transportation procurement event is 90 days or less."

The benefits of Chainalytics' Transportation Procurement Value Assurance program as well as a general discussion about performing successful transportation procurement events will be the basis of an upcoming Webcast, "A Robust Approach to Procuring Transportation Services - Guarantee That the Savings Make it to Your Bottom-line," scheduled for May 13, 2008 at 11:30am EDT. Gary Girotti, Vice President Transportation Planning Practice, and Jeff Zoroya, Sr. Manager Transportation Planning Practice, Chainalytics, will discuss what companies should do before and after a transportation procurement event to ensure cost reductions are truly realized. Anyone interested in joining the Webcast may register at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/157743140.
