Practice Leader, Packaging Optimization Practice


Darren serves as a Practice Leader of the Packaging Optimization Practice at Chainalytics, where he manages the delivery of supply chain packaging optimization, and complex packaging engineering services that enable clients to achieve breakthroughs in reduced logistics and freight costs to improve sustainability by better leveraging packaging design. Darren’s strong expertise in supply chain management, network modeling, and statistical analysis empowers fact-based transformations to create a competitive advantage for client’s supply chains, end-to-end.

Prior to joining Chainalytics, Darren had multiple responsibilities for Advanced Auto Parts, including Transportation, Market Availability, Assortment Planning, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain Design. Before Advanced Auto Parts, Darren served as Director, Supply Research and Analytics for Best Buy, as well as a Manager for a supply chain consulting firm.

Darren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State and a Masters in Transportation Engineering & Operations from Purdue University.
